About

RSP 110 exists to create an open, organized, and welcoming pickleball experience at Riverside Park. With six public courts and a structured stack system, our goal is to give players of all skill levels consistent opportunities to play while making it easy to find balanced, competitive games.

Whether you’re rotating through open play, jumping into a challenge match, or learning in a clinic, RSP 110 maintains a supportive, respectful atmosphere where everyone gets their turn and every game matters.

RSP 110 is for everyone who loves pickleball — from brand-new players picking up a paddle for the first time to seasoned competitors looking for high-level games on the challenge court.

Community Rules

  1. Open Play Rotation (NYC Parks Site): Courts are first-come, first-served. When full, paddles form stacks of four. Games are 4 OFF / 4 ON. Play to 11 win by 2 (or 9 win by 2 if 5+ stacks / 20+ players are waiting).
  2. Paddle Queue Etiquette: Place paddles in the next available spot. Players may stack together. Incomplete stacks may be filled by others. Do not move someone’s paddle without permission and do not hold multiple spots.
  3. Be Ready & Keep It Moving: Monitor when your stack is up and be ready to play. If you leave a full stack, help find a replacement so games aren’t delayed.
  4. Advanced / Challenge Court: When fewer than 5 stacks are waiting, one court may be designated for stronger play with a separate queue. Format may be standard rotation or Winners Stay (max two games).
  5. Doubles When Busy: If players are waiting, games are Doubles only. When no one is waiting, Singles, drilling, and instruction are welcome.
  6. Community First: We’re an inclusive, volunteer-based group. Advanced players adjust when partnering with beginners. Help with setup/cleanup, consider donating balls or supplies.

What is Pickleheart?

Pickleheart is a non-profit membership collective designed to support the oft-overlooked people at the grassroots level of pickleball: the community leaders and players at the public playgrounds. We are enabling local communities to have their own web portal, stores, and a mobile app to enhance connectivity.
We are launching in early 2026 in NYC. Hopefully coming to your community later this year.
Join our wait list now to be the first to know when we launch.
